Many of you already know that we had to cut the trip short due to Chris's knee problems. He was dealing with pain in both of his knees and felt that it would be best to head home and get a little R&R.
After working every scenario over in my head, I decided it would be best if I headed home to decide my next steps in this adventure.
As of now, I'm planning on taking a train to Portland around the 20th of June and riding from there down to San Francisco.

It sounds like you are coming home and then taking the train to Portland????? Are the two of you biking from wherever you are now home??? I'm sorry for your pain Chris, and curious about both of your plans? Do you need a pickup????? PLEASE LET US KNOW.... HUGS AND LOVE.... Mom F and Roger
